Upon doing some online research on college planning websites similar to ParentsAndColleges.com, I came across one particular website which seemed quite helpful in preparing for the post-secondary education experience. This website is known as the College Planning Network, and it provides a variety of options which give information on how to plan for your college career. However, there are some characteristics about the website which could be improved in order to make it more useful for its visitors.
Primarily, the College Planning Network, like ParentsAndColleges.com, gives a list of informative links which lead to general information on their topics, including how to apply for various colleges and getting financial aid if and when it is necessary. However, these links only lead to seemingly short paragraphs about the activities you can do in order to answer any questions you might have. Fortunately, though, these activities can be done through the Network and therefore they can be quite useful and informative in the end when young students are trying to gain more knowledge as to which college they should attend. In other words, the College Planning Network really lives up to its name in that it is made up of several branches of options which college-goers or potential college students can consult when they have questions on the areas which make up the application process and other aspects of college as a whole.
Overall, the College Planning Network can be quite useful when you are trying to learn more about the college experience. Just like with ParentsAndColleges.com, I would recommend this website to anyone who is hoping to get into college and looking for ways to make it a memorable experience in his or her life. Whether he or she would be a young adult about to enter the workforce or someone who is hoping to go back to college at a later stage in life, this website can help with this plan and also to help them carry it out.
